Direction to state government has been issued by Apex Court to ensure scrapped Section 66A of the IT Act is not invoked by them
Supreme Court has directed all state governments to remind their respective police departments of its March 24, 2005 order which led to scrapping of Section 66A of the Information Technology (IT) Act and asked to ensure that Section 66A of IT Act is not invoked.
