Tata Sky gets relief from implementing TRAI tariff order, regulation till 10 Jan
Direct to home (DTH) operator Tata Sky obtained relief from the Delhi High Court as the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has assured that it won’t make any coercive move against the DTH operator. The Hon’ble Bench stated that although they will not be able to grant a stay, they would let the Authority consider not to take any coercive action against the Petitioners for not complying by the Regulations and Tariff Order. The Hon’ble Court further gave liberty to parties to mention that matter in case the Authority initiates any action against the Petitioners before 10th January, 2019 and listed the matter for 10th of January, 2019.
